Well, this is my first year trapping so im goin to start of with the basic animals and trap coon,mink,and muskrat.

The only thing we have been catching around here seems to be coon and grinners.

Got some coon, a mink, and a oppossum before deer season. Got an otter the sunday before buck season opened...have to release them in PA.....so I did. That was an exciting ordeal for sure! I never was that close to an otter before, they're real shiny, and about half cute with the webbed feet and all. A DUKE 1 1/2 cs on a 2prong drag (coon set). It took the trap and drag about 60 yards under the ice, came out at the end of a pool and got tangled on a root. I had seen this "giant mink" a week or so before that and got a female mink from the area, but I guess the otter was my "giant mink" after all. he he oh well........... Paul

If it's got 4 legs and fur it's hit this yr.to make money you have to go for every thing .
