Well I save my castor out of all my beaver and I use it in a lure for Castor mounds and works great . I grind or chop it and add it to glycol and or cray fish oils to make it go furthure . I use oils so when it hits the water it stays in the pocket I make for the mock slide as well as add bait to get them to come to the mound and then it is to late ther mine . Just that easy

I just got started last season and didn't have any home made bit or lure. I do plan on getting some carp this spring to try and make up some fish oil for coon this season. I did however dye my traps with walnuts and as crazy as it sounds enjoyed it.
