I waited untill later to get ready for last season but cant wait and will start a little earlyer this year. Not much I can do now but I do have a few traps that need base plating and will probably try my hand at laminating some jaws. Against my wifes wishes I do have a carp "marninating" in a glass gallon jar in the back yard to get some fish oil. Is anyone else geting antsey?

That reminds me I plan on making some waxed dirt and would like to get one of those hamers with a spud on the head for diging in the frozen ground and a hollow handle for making dirt hole sets.

I got a couple dozen new traps in the mail the other day and are working on them. The dry dirt on the other hand isgoing to be a problem around here right now. We got water coming out your wazoo right now. I don't think you are any better down there. I plan on going to Columbia in a couple weeks. I'm getting the fever again.................

Well the carp in the glass jar didn't turn out so well, and I still need to pick up some wax for the wax dirt. I did experiment with a collapsible colony trap that turned out pretty good and will take up a lot less space. And am just about done with a 12 x 12 live trap.
