Here is my feelings on Boards Vs wire I like wire the best but back in the day before wire everything was on wood AKA Boards . Most of the reason some are put on Boards is due to the Fur buyer As of today ther are only s few things most fur buyers would like to see on Wood is MINK , Coon, Maybe K9,s But I only use wood on Mink and haven't a problem selling any fur . I feel they do dry faster on wire then wood but wood they say give you a better pelt and gives more room to feel the Quality of the fur . so it all boils down as preference most fur buyers take wire stretched fur these days . hope this helps you under stand .
